At Cote Paralegal Services, we provide professional, affordable, and client-focused legal services throughout Ontario. Our firm assists clients with a wide range of legal matters, including Landlord and Tenant Board (LTB) applications, Small Claims Court matters, Record Suspension (Pardon) applications, Commissioning and Notary Public services, and Family Law Services within the authorized scope of practice for a licensed Family Legal Services Provider (FLSP).
As a licensed FLSP under the Law Society of Ontario framework, we assist clients with eligible family law matters, including Simple Divorces, Joint Divorces, uncontested divorce proceedings, Motions to Change related to child support, filing domestic contracts and agreements with the court, name change applications, procedural guidance, document preparation, service and filing of court materials, drafting and responding to eligible family court documents, attendance at certain family court appearances permitted within the FLSP scope of practice, and support navigating the Ontario family court process.
Cote Paralegal Services proudly serves clients across the Niagara Region and throughout Ontario, including St. Catharines, Niagara Falls, Welland, Thorold, Fort Erie, Port Colborne, Grimsby, Lincoln, Niagara-on-the-Lake, and surrounding communities. We offer in-person, virtual, and mobile services for added convenience.

Elizabeth Cote is the founder and owner of Cote Paralegal Services, proudly serving clients across the Niagara Region and throughout Ontario. Based in St. Catharines, Elizabeth is a licensed Paralegal, Family Legal Services Provider (FLSP), Notary Public, and Commissioner of Oaths in Ontario. She graduated from the Paralegal program at Mohawk College and the Law Clerk program at Durham College, and successfully completed the Law Society of Ontario’s Paralegal licensing process in 2021, followed by the Family Legal Services Provider (FLSP) licensing process in 2026.
Before opening her own practice, Elizabeth gained experience working in law offices throughout Niagara Falls and St. Catharines. Her practice focuses primarily on Landlord and Tenant Board matters, Small Claims Court disputes, Ontario Tribunal matters, and Notary Services.
Outside of her legal career, Elizabeth is a proud mom of four and “Gigi” to four grandchildren. Her background in tourism, retail, and food and beverage industries helped shape her approachable, client-focused style and strong understanding of customer service. Elizabeth is passionate about providing professional and practical legal support while building meaningful relationships within her community.
Appointments are available by scheduled booking, including evening, weekend, mobile, and virtual options based on availability.
